About Record Access (RA)
Wolverton Health Centre have installed a system that makes it possible for you to view a summary of your medical record using a personal computer (PC) connected to the internet. You will find information in these pages that explains what the system is and how you can view it.

What is the Online Summary Patient Record (SPR) Viewing System?

The system is a website that allows you to view a summary of your medical record over the internet from a PC. It allows you to easily and quickly view the electronic information held about your sensitivities, Allergies and prescription history held by your GP Practice.
The information is presented to you in a format that is easy to navigate.

Registering to use the Patient Online system to enable you to view your SPR

To be able to use the system you must have a PC with a web browser and have a connection to the internet.

If you haven’t already you need to register to use SystmOnline by contacting the practice who will do this for and supply you with a username and password.

How do I use the Online Viewing System?

Once you have registered to access the system, from your PC web browser enter the web address  and follow the instructions to sign in and begin using SystmOnline.

Once you have signed into SystmOnline  you can select the ‘View Summary Record’ section which will bring up the details stored in your Gps system on any sensitivities or allergies you may have and a summary of your recent prescriptions.

Why have an Online viewing system?

There are many reasons to provide you with access to your medical information. A few of them are listed below:

‘We want to develop a culture of openness, honesty and trust; to ensure that patients have the information they need to make informed choices; and to enable patients to become equal partners with health care professionals in making decisions about treatment and care.’

The NHS Plan

Wolverton Health Centre believe that it is important for improved patient care and education that you are involved in your healthcare as much as possible.

Advantages to you, the patient:

o    You can view all the medications you are on

o    You are empowered to become more involved in your own medical care

REMEMBER - To protect your privacy, as with all password protected applications on the internet, logout of the system when you are finished.

Phone calls from the duty doctors

When an urgent telephone call is requested from the duty doctor, the doctor will only try to contact you once, so please stay by the phone.
