What To Expect
When a Therapist has reviewed your referral, you will receive a text message to note if your referral has been accepted. When appointments are available, you will be contacted again requesting you to contact to book an initial screening assessment.
During your initial screening assessment, a Speech and Language Therapist will:
- Listen to you and discuss your concerns
- Ask questions to assess the needs of your child
- Observe your child in play
- Talk with you about ideas to help your child
- Discuss next steps
