As per the announcement from the government, the current daily target for administering booster vaccines is 1 million doses per day until the 31st of December.
We have now received instruction from NHS England to begin urgent vaccination planning because of the newly identified Omicron variant. All surgeries across the country have been asked to halt all routine appointments to offer booster vaccinations.
We ask that our patients do not contact the surgery regarding booster vaccines or regarding your appointments. If your appointment is deemed as ‘routine’ we will be in touch with you directly to manage your appointments. As a surgery we are waiting for finalised details on vaccine delivery and further information of the requirements of this vaccination drive.
